1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth


Students are able to see themselves as individuals with various abilities and skills, of which some are more developed than others

-Physical education-I've achieved this LO in PE because I helped my friends when I knew the technique and was trying to help 

​

-Making a poster about global issues-I was the coordinator of the poster and had an ability of controlling the members of a group

​

-Jaśmin school horse-I have been horse riding earlier so I passed my knowledge to students which didnt have a contact with a horse before

​

-First aid training-I attended first aid training before therefore I knew what's going on and I was able to translate the polish version for international students in english.

​

-Cooking blog-Cooking is my hobby and I think I am good in it so I try to pass my interests to other people and help them with developing a hobby

​

2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process


A new challenge may be an unfamiliar experience or an extension of an existing one. The newly acquired or developed skills may be shown through experiences that the student has not previously undertaken or through increased expertise in an established area.

​

-Ice skating-I overcame the fear of standing on ice

​

-Physical education-I challenged myself to try every possible sport and was open to try and learn new things

​

-Trampoline park-I learnt how to do a salto which has been my dream when I was younger

​

-Cooking blog-I have challeneged myself to write a blog although I know I am not patient enough to write a lot and I tried keeping it regular

​

-Sport challenge-I challenged myself to discover new sports

​

-Painting kids' faces- I have worked with kids which usually makes me feel uncomfortable

​

-Wielka Orkiestra ÅšwiÄ…tecznej Pomocy-Though I am a pretty shy person I managed to presuade people in a nice way to donate money for sick kids

​

3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience


Students can articulate the stages from conceiving an idea to executing a plan for a CAS experience or series of CAS experiences. This may be accomplished in collaboration with other participants. Students may show their knowledge and awareness by building on a previous experience, or by launching a new idea or process.

​

-Toy collection - Toy collection first didn't go well because it wasn't advertised enough so we didn't make it on time to give the toys for easter so we improved and gave the toys for christmas with a better plan

​

-Dog shelter trip-This project took a lot of planning and organization
 

4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences


Students demonstrate regular involvement and active engagement in CAS.

​

-Physical education-I attended all PE lessons unless I was sick and researched about physical activity

​

-Cooking blog- I tried writing regular post on my cooking blog

​

Spot challenge-I researched new sports in my small town and was very committed to trying them

​

5: Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively


Students are able to identify, demonstrate and critically discuss the benefits and challenges of collaboration gained through CAS experiences.

 

-Making a poster about global issues-Working in a group has made it so much fuster to make a poster 

​

-Physical education- Physical education has socialized us all in a class and with a class younger

​

-Christmas production-It's always a great fun to work on Christmas productiona nd working in a group brings a lot of creative ideas
 

​

6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance


Students are able to identify and demonstrate their understanding of global issues, make responsible decisions, and take appropriate action in response to the issue either locally, nationally or internationally.

 

-Collecting waste paper-I not only helped the animals with donating waste paper but also helped the environment and recycling 

​

-Making poster about global isses-Poster was about global issues and ways to prevent them happening

​

-Wielka Orkiestra ÅšwiÄ…tecznej Pomocy-Money collected went for noble cause and sick kids will get their medication

​

-Making a poster about women violence-Poster spread the awarness of women violence
 

7: Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions


Students show awareness of the consequences of choices and actions in planning and carrying out CAS experiences.

 

-Wielka orkiestra ÅšwiÄ…tecznej Pomocy-We have helped sick kids

-Painting kids faces- I had to make sure that all kids get attention from me because I know kids are very sensitive about this so I cared about them all and treated them equally.

-Dog shelter trip- We were guests there so I had to take care of all the behaviour of kids and make sure that they are save with unknown dogs
