Leaflets for Charity run

INVESTIGATION:

Our school has organized a charity run for kids from Tanowo Orphanage. It is a very big event and it was important so that everyone knows about it and can join it to help the kids. Our school has prepared the leaflets that were going to be distributed around people. My and two of my friends were asked to go to populated places and distribute the leaflets.

PREPARATION:

We had to go get the leaflets and choose the appropriate location for the distribution. We chose Kasprowicza Park which is the biggest park in Szczecin and usually all the other runs are organized there. It's always full of people which are funs of exercise and fresh air so we decided to go there. We also planned our strategy to make sure that we don't give the leaflets to the same people. We decided everyone will take the different direction.

ACTION:

On the weekend there was a running event in the park taking place so there were a lot of people, those who participated and their families. We started distributing the leaflets encouraging people to come with our enthusiastic smiles. The weather wasn't so great because it was raining and was really cold but we didn't give up. One of us also went to the cars and left a leaflet in each car for people to see.

REFLECTION:

Giving out leaflets wasn't an easy job especially because of the weather conditions. Also, some people were unfriendly to us which demotivated us, however we kept fighting. I am happy I could help our school in organizing such noble even. I decided to help because I really wanted to participate in the even but I won't be able to because I'll have my IB exam on this day. I will mentally support all those people who decide to participate.
